Here at Greenwood Physio, we offer a variety of different braces. My partnership with Ossur means that we can find the brace that is most suitable to your individual requirements.

The clients I most commonly fit braces for are those who are looking for braces to provide stability and protection after a ligament injury or an operation such as an ACL tear or reconstruction.

The other condition I work with a lot is Osteoarthritis and I will look towards a brace that can offload part of the knee joint.

In both cases the idea is to maximise your function to help you return to doing the things you enjoy despite your knee problem.

I usually carry out an initial assessment with you to ensure that you are on the best possible rehabilitation programme as the brace acts as a supplement to the hard work you need to put in to get the best outcome.

I will then discuss with you which will be the most effective bracing option for you, measure you up and on a future appointment supply and fit the brace.
